Elizabeth holds an MDiv from Yale Divinity School. She has served as a spiritual director for churches and retreats for over twenty years. In addition to her private practice, she also serves as one of the spiritual directors at the Franciscan Renewal Center in Scottsdale Arizona.
SPIRITUAL DIRECTION
Spiritual companioning is my joy. To journey with you on sacred ground, listening deeply and responding with openness and compassion is a privilege. Your spiritual journey is unique and having a safe space to explore all possibilities without judgement can be one of the most healing and life-affirming steps you can take.
I have been a spiritual director for over twenty years, and I love this one-on-one companioning. The real director is God (however you define or name it). You are the one opening into this intimate, personal and profound relationship, and my role is to help you deepen the connection. Sessions last approximately an hour and are usually scheduled monthly.
I am formally trained and certified as a spiritual director and a member of Spiritual Directors International. My MDiv from Yale, PhD in Religious Studies, and years of teaching World Religions as well as my personal practice of prayer and meditation prepares me to companion a broad range of spiritual seekers. I specialize in spiritually companioning those who enjoy being creative and those in active ministry. No matter how busy I am, I make time for these sessions because it is so fulfilling.
I have a private practice here in Phoenix, AZ and will send you more information upon request. Video and phone sessions during this time of Covid has worked well and has created more long-distance connections. Locally I also serve as one of the spiritual directors at the Franciscan Renewal Center in Scottsdale, Arizona.
