I love music as an outlet for my creativity. I play cello, piano and compose. It is a great complement to my academic pursuits. I have recorded two albums: Gratitude and Unspoken Touch.
Gratitude will be released in January 2020. Stay tuned!
This album was recorded in Sedona, Arizona. The music was inspired by hikes in the red rocks and improvising world music after years composing and performing as a classically trained pianist and cellist. I performed all the synthesizer, piano, cello and female voicing. Many thanks to the community of musicians who also contributed their talents: Dean Olch – shakuhachi flute, Peter Sterling - Celtic harp, Mikael Zimmerman – digeridoo, Tina Reichow and Michael DiMartino – drums, Barbi Edwards - zither harp, David Milgram, Mikael Zimmerman, and Cory - male chanting. The first eleven tracks were originally recorded with Cory Productions in Sedona. When Unspoken Touch was first released, it was heard on over one hundred radio stations, including National Public Radio. The album also contributed to my receiving a fellowship at the Yale Institute of Sacred Music. The digital release of Unspoken Touch is a 2017 remaster of the original eleven tracks plus two new bonus tracks. I am grateful to Daniel Hirtz (digeridoo), Kathy Ursic (violin) and Richard Cooke (flute) for adding their musical talents to the new music. The new tracks are aptly titled, Thankful and Journey On. You can listen to full tracks on CD Baby: www.cdbaby.com. The album is also available on Amazon and other digital retail outlets.
