Elizabeth holds an MDiv from Yale Divinity School. She has served as a spiritual director for churches and retreats for over twenty years, and is currently at the Franciscan Renewal Center in Scottsdale Arizona.
RETREATS & SEMINARS
In addition to individual sessions, I also work with groups. I have led Advent, Lent and Easter retreats, as well as retreats on general themes such as “Deepening Your Spiritual Journey” and “Opening Your Spirituality through Creativity.”
I have been asked by churches and contemplative networks to present seminars on various Christian saints, including St. Hildegard of Bingen, St. Bridgett of Ireland, and St. Antony of Egypt as well as Mary Magdalene.
I have also been a guest speaker for book clubs and college classes that are reading my book, Women, Ritual, and Power: Placing Female Imagery of God in Christian Worship (SUNY Press, 2014).
